The Agriculture and Environment program area continues the legacy of Governor Winthrop Rockefeller through its commitment to fostering awareness for the natural world, energy, and sustainable lifestyles in human communities.
Using Petit Jean Mountain as a classroom, agricultural and environmental programs provide a unique, place-based educational experience through field trips, workshops, outreach, and training. These educational events and activities cultivate a deeper understanding of our world and reinforce the ethics of sustainability and conservation.
